Some of the best food I've had. Both the Goulash, and catch of the day (Salmon) tasted like heaven at the end of a 10 hour ski day. But I'd still say that if it was in town. The fact that it was at the end of a ski run was just an added bonus. It was at the end of night skiing on a Saturday night, and surprisingly not very busy. Food came quickly and we were in and out to catch the Snow Bus with time to spare. We weren't the only ones impressed - the table next to us gave their compliments to the chef, who apparently was new.
The classic Big Mountain après spot. It's always a fun time. The interior is unique, to say the least! These days, I usually go for lunch because it's easier to get a seat at the bar. The food is all good, not amazing but a lot better than the cafeteria. Bartenders are hilarious, and have clearly been working there for a long time. Beer selection is not great but 5 stars just for the vibe and dirtbag-story potential.
The Ceasers were very good, extra extra spicy.
This place is a must while on the hill.
All the food we had was great. One of which included the Nachos, will easily feed 4 hungry skiers.
Decent food menu. The beer selection is pretty limited but sometimes the rotating tap is good. No French fries! Great ski atmosphere and friendly staff. Plan on a wait if you want lunchtime table service.
Best of all we felt like they were trying to make friends instead of customers.
One of the best restaurants in town. Great views of the valley and away from the summer time crunch in downtown Whitefish.
