Don K Subaru is so frustrating and a couple of the employees have attitudes. Tried to use a Don K oil change coupon today and Subaru wouldn't honor it. There's one gal in the Service area that always asks me if I bought my Subaru there and cops an attitude when I say no. I was going to but due to arrogance of salesman, I went elsewhere. Earlier this year I had air conditioning problems after hitting a deer. State Farm covered it without question. Don K is an approved State Farm repair shop so they are suppose to work directly with each other. She refused and said that I had to pay out of pocket and deal with the insurance myself. I went to Hill Brothers and they handled everything for me. Don K subaru just wants your money, they don't care about customer service. I intend to replace my Subaru next year but will have to go out of area for decent service.
Bought a new 2017 Sonic RS 07/06/17 after having 4 different vehicles in mind. Mark Beck was extremely knowledgeable and didn't hesitate to offer test drives. His no pressure sales approach really let us see the benefits to each vehicle and he had an upbeat attitude. He made sure we got a good deal and left happy. The Manager Matt Smith was there to greet us as soon as we walked in and stayed involved till we left with the deal we wanted. Steve Johnston the Finance guy took extra time to make sure we received and outstanding deal instead of picking the first deal a bank offered. He also took the time to thoroughly explain our new contract and break down all the pricing. This is my second time dealing with Don K and again nothing but a great experience and a great deal.
If you like repeat service visits then Don K is the dealer for you. So far, they've managed to short out the computer in our vehicle. That was a three week fiasco. Then it's been multiple visits for a tire sensor, yes, something as simple as a tire sensor. They can't even handle that. My next vehicle won't be from Don K, not even if they gave it to me.
Mark Beck was very helpful and got us a great vehicle for a fair price.
I have to admit, Tim at the service desk, bless his heart, for having to smooth over their worthless mechanics work. The guy should be a saint when he goes to heaven.
