Everything here is fantastic, with one major issue: the train noise is over the top bad. It seems to run all night on what felt like half hour intervals. Our tent felt like it was 50 yards away from the tracks, it's one of the worst sleeps I've had in a long time. I think if you're across the camp site from the tracks it might be okay. It's a shame because everything else here, right down to the hosts, is fantastic.
Incredibly loud freight train that runs by every 25 minutes. The tent sites were basic and close to one another and the showers were $3 for 6 minutes and only used dollar coins. Not a great value at $27 a night.
Nice camp ground, have stayed here several times. First night is generally rough until you get used to the train noise. Great access to the lake and town. Showers require 3 x $1 US coins you get at the entrance, for a 6 minute shower (tad expensive imo). Will continue to stay here during vacations to Whitefish
We really enjoyed camping there. The host and hostess were great. The only negative was the trains going by every 45 minutes or so.
Great campground. Extremely clean. On the water, close to town. Noisy though. If you can deal with the train traffic, you'll love it! A lot of trains go by and it is loud...
