If you have the time, well worth the wait. And at least you'll be seated and likely have a drink during the wait.
Went in today without high expectations but left with a new favorite restaurant. The food was absolutely outstanding. The waitress was amazing as well. We will be going again before the end of our vacation.
This is an edited review, from 5 stars down to two. We've been here several times and up until now the food has been great. Our meal the other night was.some of the worst BBQ we've ever had. The brisket was fatty and tasteless. The hush puppies looked like they were made with whole wheat flour. They were dark colored and absolutely horrible. It's not cheap to eat here and we don't mind paying for great food. Either the ownership has changed or the kitchen is just too small to serve that many guests. Only one waitress on a Friday night serving nearly 30 people. She was doing the best she could, but c'mon man! We are locals, but hesitant to come back.
Loved it! I got brisket & ribs with Mac and cheese and salad and it was all great! The only thing that wasn't the best was the time it took to get our food, but I'd go back and wait again if I had to. Great BBQ sauce and avocado dressing too! We sat out in the yard where they were playing live music and the place had a really fun back yard BBQ feel that I enjoyed.
Great food! I am normally not a fan of barbecue, but I made a point to go back to this place during my trip. Will definitely go back to this place! They make the best buffalo wings I've ever had!
The odd part, and the reason for three stars rather than five, there was plenty of seating available but they were warning people off, saying that there was an hour wait for food, which was true in our experience. The staff and kitchen just aren't scaled to the seating capacity.
Very odd. Delicious food, had a brisket sandwich with mac and cheese and my dad had a pulled pork sandwich with coleslaw and the BBQ beans. All very good. And the servers were very friendly. Great beer selection.
