Rented Kayaks from Lakeshore Rentals on several occasions. They are fast, equipment is in good constitution and the water and the view can't be beat.
Thank you so much for sharing your beautiful condo with us. We had a great long weekend in Glacier and Whitefish. The condo was stoked with everything we needed. So many over the top personal touches too! Beautifully decorated and we felt pampered and loved as your guests!
We stayed with Lakeshore Rentals in one of their fantastic houses hidden in the woods on the outskirts of Whitefish. The service we received was absolutely fabulous. From the effort they made to ensure we arrived safely to providing us with accommodation which was just perfect, even the heating was on and the firs set when we got to our house. Jean and Peter do a great job of looking after visitors and they are a super font of knowledge of all things local in the Flathead Valley, you just need ask and they will give you a ton of information to make your days out a roaring success They were even able to source cheap ski passes from a local Costco.
The home was nice, but...... The list of amenities online clearly shows "Air Conditioned", AC was broken for 2 of the 4 nights we stayed. We called the first morning for a repair and was told they would get it fixed. Someone from their office came over to the home to fiddle with the remote, and of course it wouldn't work. We were told a contractor would be sent for a repair, but we ended up with a portable AC unit towards the night time which one unit was not nearly enough to cool the whole property, and it was installed so late in the day that the second night was again an overheat. An AC repairman came by the 3rd morning for a repair, and apparently "recharged" the system. The unit was working for the 3rd night finally. The management team was rude to us during this time. In addition, we tried to call them after our trip to discuss this, and they hung up on us and told us WE were being rude!? They did not appropriately accommodate us, nor offer proper remedy for our miserable 2 nights, plus they were rude.
