The Whiteroom is a tiny shop with a real specific specialty. This is a ski shop with a tight focus on powder and backcountry ski gear. No snowboards, no rentals, no kids equipment. What they offer is the best selection of products and knowledge in the valley for serious powder skiers.
Like I said, definitely come here if you want a high quality product, and good recomendations from their intelligent staff!

The White Room guys made all the difference! Not only do they have very high quality products - they were also exceedingly knowledgeable and understanding about my weird feet. They were able to listen to me, and help me understand what I needed, and why. We were able to find a great boot shell/liner combination that I am excited to wear!
Additionally, I got a fun pair of demo ski-rentals from them.
I did not get good service and they would not allow returns on coat that did not fit. Your better off using REI Maybe they treat locals better. I woul not recommend this shop
I came here to get ski boots: I was born with super deformed feet so it has always been very hard to find a boot - partly because of the weird feet and partly because nobody really understood/listened to what I told them about my situation.
Great staff, definitely knowledgeable in back-country skiing.
Tim and Charlie know skis, they eat, sleep, and breath them. The service is remarkable and their staff is also top notch with regards to local knowledge and of course skiing. Need your skis tuned, boots fitted? Take em here, you wont be disappointed. Backcountry, Tele, or alpine, they got you covered. They also carry all the top clothing brands, Arc'teryx, Patagonia, Icebreaker, Black Diamond, ect. And if you want to stop in and check out the latest ski movies feel free, bring a six pack and enjoy!
