Make a couple of trips to see this museum and according to the posted hours, it should have been open. Sadly it was closed both times. I understand the need for volunteers, and the staffing uncertainty this causes, but please, either keep to the posted hours or change them.
Building looks nice from the outside. Second anniversary trip here to Whitefish and Museum not open though on the web it says it is. I'm giving up on this point if interest.
This is a great little museum. If you have a half hour to an hour you will enjoy this museum. Lots of small artifacts with lots of pictures about the history of the area. The volunteers are very knowledgeable and fun to talk to. If you need something you can do in a half hour, you should check it out. It is located on the east end of the train depot.
