Michael's had the best priced quote in town for some work we needed done. It was done in a timely and professional manner. I really appreciate the service and attitude that Michael and his crew are devoted to. We will definitely be using Michael's again in the future!
I had an issue with my Subaru sporadically not starting. I took it Don K in Whitefish. They weren't able to diagnose the issue and asked me if I wanted to pour more money into diagnostic hours while they weren't sure if they could figure it out. Those weren't the exact words, but I left the conversation with zero confidence Don K could figure out what was wrong shy of costing me a small fortune. I took my car to Mike the next time the problem occurred. He ran diagnostics, figured out the problem and also went on the Subaru forums to get more information. The problem is most likely a $1068 part that has a know 50% failure rate plus $500 more in programming. In 2009 (versus my 2011), it would have been an $80 part. I say most likely beause I still have gotten the issue resolved. Mike said the dealership would have to do the programming but I should start with Subaru of America, and I am in the middle of that. He didn't charge me for the diagnostics. I won't be going to the dealership after this issue is dealt with. Mike put way more effort into solving my issue than Don K did.
